Following your individualized physician orders, Sutter Auburn Faith VNA combines the latest technology with the personalized care of well trained nurses and therapists who work with you and your family on every aspect of your care.
Clinical Programs
Sutter Auburn Faith VNA clinical programs provide many options for health care at home. Programs include:
- Comprehensive rehabilitation services
- Oncology and terminal care
- Cardiovascular and respiratory care
- Intravenous therapy
- Wound and ostomy care
- Post-surgical care
Working individually or in teams, Sutter Auburn Faith VNA Staff provide a high level of professional skill and expertise. Your physician oversees your care and directs our staff to provide the best overall care possible.
Registered Nurses provided skilled nursing care, including physical assessments, drawing blood for lab work, care of IV's, wound management, ostomy and catheter care.
Home Health Aides provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, meal preparation and light housekeeping. They work directly under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist.
Medical social workers aid the patient and family with the issues of illness or serious injury, including providing guidance on financial and community resources.
Physical therapists use exercise and other therapeutic techniques to help patients regain muscle strength, improve mobility and relieve pain.
Occupational therapists help patients master the activities of daily living, such as bathing and dressing, but teaching them to compensate for the physical limitations caused by illness or injury.
Speech therapists work with communication disorders caused by illness or injury, such as a stroke or head injury.
Providing patients with "Quality of Life" care.
